Dark Colour Pubic Skin

Nemrut Dag

Last night, we have achieved just at sunset the 2150m high Mount Nemrut . It lies 85 km northeast of Adyaman in the Taurus Mountains . On its summit stands the monumental combination of shrine and burial place of three kings of the people of Commagene built by King Antiochus I Theos (69-36 BC) and his father Mithradates I Kallinikos (109-69 BC ) as a sign of which power and allegiance to the gods.

The sanctuary was the first of almost 200 years ago archaeologists rediscovered and incorporated in 1987 as a World Cultural Heritage in the UNESCO list.

The tomb consists of a Geröllaufschüttung of 150 m in diameter and 50 m in height, stand on their terraces, gigantic statues and stelae. In the course of time, earthquakes, storms and the man himself made sure that the once 8-10 m high statues are headless, and today their heads to the ground jumbled lie.

The actual tomb and its secrets despite many attempts to penetrate into the interior, still not disclosed. With this background, we were very excited about what awaits us.
the last 300 meters, we have to face a very bumpy sidewalk. The statues of gods, madness and the breathtaking sunset view but the Gekraxel are worth. The ascent of Nemrut Dag

I have (see the next screen) with this nice young man from Leipzig made. It has been two weeks with a XT500 road and has a total of 8 weeks.

From Nemrut Mountain takes us from our trip to Cappadocia via Kayseri .
